About us
We are an entrepreneurial Brooklyn-based company with a creative team of 12 like-minded, environmentally conscious people who have come together to share our ideas, passions and visions through a unique art project we call Engage Green.

Our story began with our concern about Global Warming, about our Planet. . . and about Team Work. . . We thought about the Penguin, whose natural environment was melting away. We thought about the Chicken, whose natural environment was being flooded by the glaciers that were getting smaller. A penguin and a chicken -- two birds living in very different environments, both dealing with the consequences of climate changes. It is a metaphor of our times -- a penguin from the glaciers and a chicken from the land. Even though they cannot fly, they can ride and team together toward a common project, to help Stop Global Warming. . . to ENGAGE GREEN!!! - This is what our logo represents
We believe that using sustainable materials and recycling are effective ways to conserve our resources, minimize waste and protect the environment. We turn consumerism into something positive by engaging what we call [The Green Cycle] – choosing the right material, creating a functional design and engaging environmentally conscious consumers.
We believe in Team Work, both Local and Global, the Engage Green project currently joins forces with the USA and Taiwan to produce our designs made under legal, safe and fair working conditions that are sweatshop free. We work with companies whose people share our values of integrity and environmentalism. They have a long history of quality management. We work together on a consistent basis and we are on site during each production cycle.
We aim to create beautiful, functional and fashionable designs that our customers will be proud to use and happy to own.
We commit to the Earth and to Future Generations by creating design elements that respond to our environmental crisis in a meaningful way. We strive to “Live Green”.
We support charities and non-profit organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, American Red Cross, The Children of Chernobyl (Children at Heart), New Jersey Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Clarke School of New York, The Little Red Schoolhouse, NYU Stern Social Enterprise Association (SEA), United Way of Greater Duluth, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Fred's Team (NYC Marathon), Niagara Regional Athletics, Safe House Foundation Fundraiser, High Heels and Helping Hearts, Power of the Purse, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Wildlife Conservation Society’s Run for the Wild at the Bronx Zoo.
